2017 Vacation Bible School


Faith Lutheran Church, LCMS, Eldersburg held itsVacation Bible School, “A Mighty Fortress,” from Monday, June 26 through Friday, June 30.  One-hundred six children and sixty volunteers participated.  The children learned that God is their refuge and strength.  God promises to be their rock and salvation, their fortress and sure defense.  The Victory is Won! There were Bible stories, games, snacks, arts and crafts, music, more.  In addition, two mission projects were a focus of the experience.  Pictured: Mission Project #1 - Handprints were die cut and made into flowers to be given to the residents of Carroll Lutheran Village.  Left to right: Caroline Maerten, Jake Hohenberger, Ben Kraus, Jimmy Billheimer, Abby Waggoner.
